Saturday's Game
On Saturday the girls played extremely well. Led by an outstanding defensive effort, the girls were able to control the play of the game. The Thunder continued to pass well and spread the field. In the second half The Thunder outscored the opponent 2 goals to 1. The outcome of the game was a 5 to 2 loss.

Sunday's Game
On Sunday the girls played to a 0 to 0 tie. The effort put forth by both teams was tremendous. The Thunder and the opposition each had opportunities to score, and if not for great goalkeeping either team could have scored several goals. The Thunder passed very well and moved the ball up the sidelines very effectively. The effort put forth by the girls was augmented by the fact that we only had one substitute on Sunday and many of the girls were forced to play the entire game.
