Saturday's Game
The THUNDER finished up their season this Saturday with another tough 0 to 1 loss to THE LEMON HEADS. The girls played with a huge amount of intensity and determination. The defense was outstanding again, allowing practically no shots on goal. The offense also picked it up a notch and played with extreme enthusiasm. The girls were passing and positioning themselves well, attacking the ball hard, and breaking for the goal when the opportunity was there.

Coaches Comments
During Saturday's game I was able to let the girls play without any real coaching from the sidelines. The girls new where to go, how to stop an attack, where to send a throw-in, and how to move the ball around. The way that the girls played on Saturday showed me just how far this team has progressed from the time that I first met them in August. I am extremely proud of how the team has played all season and I am looking forward to the opportunity to coach all of the girls again in the future. I think that the girls had fun this season and learned more about how to play the game, and isn't that the definition of a successful season.
